Austin was amazing. Louisa & Cary's wedding was amazing. I realized on this trip how much I still love Austin but, as one of my friends said, it's like being in love with an ex who is now married with kids. We've moved on. I'm finding my place in the Bay area and yesterday was a beautiful day here!
I started my classes at Chapman University. I'm getting my MA in Teaching. My first class was Child Psych with a wonderful prof and tonight I have Intro to Teaching. Kersten and I went to Rinpoche's for Tibetan yesterday and we had a 2 hour class- mind bending! :) Learning Tibetan is teaching me SO much, not just about the language, but about Dharma, history and having patience with myself.
I went on an evening walk yesterday in my neighborhood. The houses here are so cute and people are friendly and smile back. On my way home, I bought a few necessities at the dollar store and the lady was so excited to give me a free jar of pickles. It's a first for me. hehe
I'm off to take a bike ride, to study, to pack, to relax and then take off for class!
