The Space Within

This last week has been a whirlwind and it will all completely *drop* tomorrow. I'm heading to Mt. Madonna for the 5-day, silent retreat I spoke of in earlier blogs.

Where does the mind go when there is little external distraction? Inward. And into that journey I shall delve...whether kicking and screaming or surrendering peacefully, it's completely up to me.
I've spent a lot of this week working on a project that requires listening to some amazing Dharma talks by Anam Thubten Rinpoche. His precise explanations allow me to conceptually see things and focus more on experience. Wow. I am so grateful I met him.

Here a few things that really stuck with me:

"Immeasurable compassion arises when there is immeasurable suffering, it is a symbiotic relationship."

"Do not dye the color of your mind as you do your robes. Leave your mind as it is right now." (said by Jigme Lingpa, a Tibetan master)

There isn't much else to say....I'll be sure to write next week!

LOVE!
