Man am I a sucker for kids these days or what?? This is my cousin Sean's daughter, Funy (pronounced "Fooney"). She's dang-ole cute and we hit it off like peas & carrots (that's southern for good, in case any of you Yanks were wonderin'). She's 3 years old and just as bouncy as can be.Today we went to Gugu (pronounced "Goo Goo") Tookie's house (aka Granny's, "Goo Goo" is Granny in Verde, the South African language where Funy was born, Tookie is my Grandmother's nickname). Funy and I played and made a big, fun mess in Gugu Tookie's bathroom playing with a floaty fish, soap, a wisk, and a big spoon (making "soup"- duh!!)
I feel totally worn out, yet, rejuvenated and I can't wait to teach elementary school! *Yippee*
I also taught the ever important word "scrum-diddly-umscious" (thanks, Wonka) which we shortened to "scrum-diddy" because it was easier for Funy to say. hehehe
My Fridays are much more "good, clean fun" than they used to be, right???
