I'm here!
It's about 11am in New Delhi and 1:30 am in Virginia...I forced myself to stay up on the plane more than I wanted to in order to pass out when I got here. I think it worked! I feel pretty good considering I spent the entire last day in a plane crossing the Atlantic, Europe and the Middle East.
I bought my train ticket to head north this afternoon...the train station was quite an interesting scenario (not to mention getting there). Thankfully, I have had wonderful advice to keep a straight face and my head pointed where I'm going. I bought a tunic and a head scarf in the market (where I'm staying) so I can look a tad less "western." (Thanks, Madi & Subs for the advice).
My hotel room is definitely living up to the $6 quality, but that's okay, it has served its purpose.
I'm off to reorganize my stuff for my train ride and head up to the roof cafe for something to eat!
